If you have 8 decks of cards and you select four cards what are the permutations and odds of selecting, any one 5, two 5鈥檚, three 5鈥檚, four 5鈥檚, two 5鈥檚 suited, three 5鈥檚 suited, and four 5鈥檚 suited?I鈥檝e been trying to figure out the permutations and odds in a card game all day and have had no luck.?
i'm not gonna do all of them but i'll get you started.





8 decks = 8 * 52= 416


8 * 4 = 32...... 32 fives


therefore there are 8 fives of each suit.











1 five = 32 choose 1/ 416 choose 1 =.0769


2 fives= 32 choose 2/ 416 choose 2= 496/86320= .00574





2 fives suited= 8 choose 2/ 416 choose 2 =.00032
