How do u figure out the square footage of a house?
when someone says 700sq foot house, what does that mean? and how do i figure out how big my place is?

It can be a little complicated because it is normaly based on the outside dimensions of the house. If the house were a perfect rectangle that was 30 feet by 40 feet and was only one floor, it would be a 1200 sq ft house (30 X 40 = 1200).
You could measure each room and hallway in your house and multiply the length and width of each area. Add them all up and you will be close. There may be some areas that are missed.
If there is an attached garage or a basement, they are not usually included in the square footage of the house. That term is used for the living area in the house.

Then divide your length by 36'; to tell how many yards you will need to cover that. In this case 2 and a bit. Round up so 3 yards ;long. 3 yards times 2 panels is 6 yards.
The reason you round up is that it gives you extra for seam allowances and hems. Have fun and good luck!

You don't have to deconstruct your life, but you probably have to try to understand yourself and your place in life, and what would make you happy.

I can't complete a call! Not only do I have to practically climb a tree to use my phone, half way thru the conversation my call gets dropped. Also, I try to make a call with full service and I'm unable to, or receive calls. They tell me it is because they have to many people trying to make a call and mine can't get thru, because they dont have enough of servers or towers or something for the 64 million customers they have. The cost to run an ice rink is HUGE. Especially recently as electricity bills have gone up. It costs so much that management have to increase the prices of hiring ice, so that when the coaches hire the private ice to teach on, they have to pay more, and they get their money from us, unfortunately.
As you get to a higher level there are so many more lessons you need to do, which means more ice time, and there will be off ice, competitions, which are DARN expensive, travel, boots, blades, clothing etc. It all adds up.
it can cost $109 for an 11 week class, $25 dollars for private lessons, and it is currently costing me $800 dollars for new skates. Also, the synchro team at my rink charges $1300+ to join the team. $1300 for the team fee, $225 for the dress and tights, and 75 for the practice dress. Also custom dresses cost a lot of money, and good dresses have a lot of rhinestones, which are exteremely pricey. And practice ice can range from $6 to $27. Competitions and club memberships are a whole nother expensive story. And annual maintaining of the skates(polishing, sharpening, getting them re-built) is also pricey. It takes years to get to where the Olympians are, so u would need lots of dedication and money to get there in a short amount of time.

Ice time isn't cheap. You might save a few bucks of you contract ice ahead of time, but when 45 minutes costs you $8 or more bucks, use your time wisely! Lessons can be anywhere from $15 on up for just a half hour, depending on the calibur of the coach. On top of that, add club dues (at least $100 a year), testing fees (anywhere from $50 a test on up), competition fees (depends on how many events you enter, but even low levels can be at least $100 for one event), dresses/costumes ($50 into the thousands), off-ice training, transportation (gas, airline tickets, rooms, etc.) and more quickly become very expensive.....and that's for just your average singles skater. Elite skaters get sponsors to try to defray costs.
A good pair of ice skates would be around $200, and if their feet are still growing, then you would have to spend more and more each time. Plus the ice time, coach (you need quite a few), equipment (boot covers, blade covers, cloth covers, skating bag, tights, clothes), and if you're REALLY dedicated (like olympics, nationals, etc.. ) tutor, etc.. There are a lot of awesome figure skaters who could have gone into the olympics, but the cost is really high, and they don't have enough money.

I love buying practice skirts, dresses, soakers of different colors, skate guards, etc. I haven't started competing yet, but I have already bought some dresses that were on sale. Honestly, I think I spend about $500/month on figure skating stuff, including private lessons twice/week for 1/2 hr each, ice rink 5 times/week, gym membership, skating club membership, tights, skate sharpening, etc etc etc. I am advancing and I want to buy new skates.... boots plus blades are gunna cost me like, $600.00. Well I don't have a Sony, but I know with mine, i needed to make sure I formatted the disk first (you'll probably have to keep it plugged in for this.) And then once it was done formatting, I plugged in the correct wire that attached to the camcorder and to the TV and it was able play that way. Cuz I know with mine, I don't need to plug it into my VCR, i just need to plug it into my TV and set the TV to the correct input. (im pretty sure its input 2).

You will have to finalize your dvd in the camera and then put the dvd in your computer's DVD burner (top loading only) and then you will have to convert the files (I downloaded http://www.handbrake.fr/ file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. Usually you would import your videos and drop them in to the timeline, add transitions, menus, music, etc. Once you are ready to burn, your project will be burned to a different DVD and you can file the original away.

I wouldn't go more than a dollar a minute so no more than $30 for 30 mintues. 35-40 at the most if it is a very qualified and experienced coah like a national champion or olympian. Because when you think about it, if they are charging $44 for 30 mintues, they can make $88 an hour which is a ton of $$$. In my area, most folks pay about $25-30 for a 30 minute lesson. I think that $44 is a bit too much... I personally wouldn't pay that much.
In my opinion, it is a bit expensive. This all depends on the credentials of the coach, in terms of the test level that the coach has passed. It also depends on the area of the country you live in. Coaches in big cities that are known for figure skating (ie major cities in Michigan or certain areas of California or Massachusetts) may charge more, although it is not always the case. It also depends on your level of skating--some coaches will take higher level skaters and charge more because it is a larger investment of the coach's time and skill, especially if you are competing on the national level (as opposed to working on freestyle 1 of learn to skate).
I would keep looking around. Also, don't settle for the first coach you run across. Take a few trial lessons to see if you like the person's teaching style. What is most important is that you can work well with the coach. My coach charges $20 for a half hour lesson (which is inexpensive) but I have worked with her for about 6 years and we can pretty much read each others minds. She can really pick apart my moves and explain to me exactly what I need to change. Don't assume that higher price=higher quality.

Yes, $44 is too much for a 30 minute lesson. I would say $30 is a really good amount for 30 minutes with that good of a coach, consider it a bargain! You can ask how much they charge per 30 minute session. If $44 is the amount they gave you, you pretty much have no choice but to pay them that. Just be aware that there are equally good but much cheaper coaches around.
I trained with olympic level coaches during my Novice through Senior years that charged $80 per hour. So to charge $44, it seems a bit much unless its someone of the caliber of Don Laws or Frank Carroll.
If this is a special visitor to your rink or if you are visiting the coach's rink, I would say go for one lesson. But you shouldn't spend that much money on a regular basis until you get to about the junior/senior level.
depends. i took lessons with anthony lui, an olympian, and they were about that much, but they were so worth it. if your coach has been teaching that long but none of his/her students are very good, its definitely too much, but if all the coach's students are good and have nice form, its worth it. nice form, such as arm positions, is extremely important, and you can see a skater has a good coach if their form is pretty.
I think that it is really important to ask where you live. I don't think that is outrageous for an experienced coach who has had success with other students. Then again I am from Chicago and a lot of my friends would pay upward to $70 an hour for coaching. Look into what people around you are paying and what the coach's track record is.

Yet my first ever spins coach (Yes, I was crap at spins, i had to get a special coach for them (: ) only cost $10 for 30mins, and she was TERRIBLE. Never got anything done.
So, with an experienced coach, i'd try it out. If they're as good as they'd need to be at $44, stick with them.If not, change. Theres no point with sticking with a coach who isn't good enough for that price.

All those things you mention just didn't work for me, I searched and searched and that is probably what you will do. The best resource is your own gut and your experiences. Since you want to go back to college that is a big plus. Perhaps you can just go the liberal arts route at first for your college major. Most people change majors so you can get a feel for subjects and decide and figure things out as you go along. I don't know. Personally, I think big women are hot. And trust me, I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm bi and I have a way bigger problem with fat guys. Curves and chubbiness is feminine. Also, I don't see women getting too aroused by fat guys.... Being fat isn't worse for women than men.
Women are the ones who find thinness attractive. Men take what they can get - no matter how much they claim to ';prefer'; slender women. BTW, gay guys are ';usually'; way more attractive than the average straight man. I can't imagine being a woman and wanting to lose weight - just so some less attractive straight guy would find me pretty....

Because the media and society in general make women (and all people, as well... But especially women) feel the need to look ';beautiful'; (whatever that means). Now the size zero fad is in, but it will fade like most fads do. I think that all people are beautiful regardless of size, race, gender,ect. People shouldn't change themselves to fit into what society thinks is beautiful at the moment.
because everywhere you look in the media, the fad is to be a size zero. and quite frankly a size zero woman doesn't happen very often. even the manikins you see when you go to the stores are tiny. its kind of like monkey see monkey do. they see everyone in the media and the magazines and the tv shows skinny then them and they want to be that way as well. when really a little curvature is usually more attractive then none.
Because women are judged by their looks much more than men are, and this makes them more sensitive about their appearance. And while slimness for women has been the ideal for most periods of history, today's somewhat obsessive interest in thinness means that women are likely to worry about their size.
That isn't being conscious. That is feeling insulted. It would happen in most circumstances where you are not complimenting someone really.
Your hair is bad, you can't draw, you have bad clothes. None of this is taken well by men or women. I hope you are good at dodging punches and/or heavy handbags

I think it's the same kind of thing as when women tell you that you have a small penis. And you know how that feels, right?
Women are conscious of their figures because men are conscious of women's figures.
Because figure conscious women hate being told they are fat? This is not hard to figure out.

That is only SOME woman.

Women tend to judge men on the basis of our financial capabilities and personalities to some degree.
Think about it. Unemployed men are often just as touchy over the fact that there unemployed as obese women are over being fat.
I don't know. Personally, I think big women are hot. And trust me, I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm bi and I have a way bigger problem with fat guys. Curves and chubbiness is feminine. Also, I don't see women getting too aroused by fat guys.... Being fat isn't worse for women than men.
Women are the ones who find thinness attractive. Men take what they can get - no matter how much they claim to ';prefer'; slender women. BTW, gay guys are ';usually'; way more attractive than the average straight man. I can't imagine being a woman and wanting to lose weight - just so some less attractive straight guy would find me pretty....

Because the media and society in general make women (and all people, as well... But especially women) feel the need to look ';beautiful'; (whatever that means). Now the size zero fad is in, but it will fade like most fads do. I think that all people are beautiful regardless of size, race, gender,ect. People shouldn't change themselves to fit into what society thinks is beautiful at the moment.
