How do I figure out how many yards of material I need for a 92x96 bedspread?

Decorating fabric is usually 54'; wide, so whichever measurement is the width divide by 54- which for both numbers is 1 and a bit. always round up so u will need 2 panels. Then divide your length by 36'; to tell how many yards you will need to cover that. In this case 2 and a bit. Round up so 3 yards ;long. 3 yards times 2 panels is 6 yards.

The reason you round up is that it gives you extra for seam allowances and hems. Have fun and good luck!

PS-if you want a more professional look, cut one panel lengthwise and sew one on each side of whole panel. It lays and looks better . Also if there is a repeating pattern give yourself an additional half yard to be able to match the pattern as patterns are usually offset. How do I figure out how many yards of material I need for a 92x96 bedspread?
First determine the width of the fabric you are buying and go from there. How do I figure out how many yards of material I need for a 92x96 bedspread?
You convert the inches to feet and feet into into yards - you know 12'; = 1 ft. = 3 ft. = 1 yard. and make sure that you purchase enough to accommodate the hem.
