I have a Mackie mixer with 1/4'; outputs. From there I need an amp, which would need 1/4'; inputs. Out of the amp a banana plug would do. I also need speakers which need to have 1/4'; inputs.
What type of amp do i need?
How many watts?
Whats the cheapest I can go for the amp / speakers?
Where can I get some good speakers?
Thank you.Help me figure out what to buy for my sound system?
Mike - It sounds like you have the cables right.
The speakers you need and the watts is really up to what you are trying to do and your budget.
You need a professional stereo amplifier and two speakers or maybe two powered speakers. Powered speakers are more expensive but they have the amps built in.
If you want a good value for your money, go with Behringer:
