2 biology questions that i can figure out?

1. What is the relationship between a gene and a protein?

(i think i got the answer right i just need to see if im close)

2. Suppose an organism had the genotype AABb. What two types of gametes could result from this allele combination?

Thank you for all help!2 biology questions that i can figure out?
1. A gene is the DNA code which is first transcribed onto an mRNA, which is subsequently translated to a protein (final product).

So: DNA gene --%26gt; mRNA --%26gt; protein

2. AABb.

There is only one A allele: A (dominant); no a (recessive).

There are two B alleles: B (dominant) and b (recessive).

Cross multiply: A x Bb

You get theses 2 gametes: AB, Ab2 biology questions that i can figure out?
1. the gene, which is DNA. the codes of DNA are transcribed to RNA which are translated to a protein. it basically shows goes from the gene to what you see on yourself.

2.either Aabb or AABb
The sequence of the bases in the DNA of the gene codes for the order of the amino acids in a protein.

Gamets will be AB and Ab.
1)

genes are used to transcribe a protein

2)

AB and Ab
i agree with people above me..
