What are some tips for landing a single loop jump (on ice-figure skating)?

I am in freestyle 4 and am having trouble learning a single loop jump, any advice on form, landing, takeoff, and the easiest position to start from when you are first learning it?? please!! ;)What are some tips for landing a single loop jump (on ice-figure skating)?
Figure skating isn't lame, which just makes you lame for suggesting that.

Anyway, loop was one of the hardest jumps for me too. You have to start this one slow, as opposed to the salchow, where you're better off fast. You can add speed later. So, first, do a right inside 3 turn. Make sure your knees are bent. Then, you just kinda have to launch across. Worry about distance, not height. In the air, do your one rotation, and then remember to check out on the landing.

Hope this helpedWhat are some tips for landing a single loop jump (on ice-figure skating)?
I recommend doing it from backwards crossovers, slowly first. this means you would sent up for the jump with your left foot in front and right foot in back. Ask your coach if you need help with this.

Make sure to bend your knees and have the right upper body position (right arm high behind you, left arm in front).

When taking off, jump off of your back toe, as if your being pulled straight up from your head. Pull your arms in tight and be strong!

Lastly, check out on your right foot right away. Try not to swing your left leg around too much.

Hope I helped and good luck! =)
ok well i go into it with a 3-turn so do a 3-tun on your right foot (if u r a righty then rotate and land)

GOOD LUCK!
Give up. Figure skating is lame.
