I suck at math.

Leading discussions 50% (we haven't done this yet)





I have 100% in postings


And 66.67% quiz average (i know its crappy, every quiz only has 10 questions on them)





Can anyone help me do the math?Can someone help me figure out my grade?
This is quite simple, really.





Here, I'll show you:





Convert your gained percentage grade in decimal:


100% Postings = 1


66.67% Quizzes = 0.6667





Then, multiply each to its corresponding percentage in the total grade breakdown:


1 x 20% = 20%


0.6667 x 30% = 20.001%








Add the two to get your partial grade (excluding Leading Discussions)





20% + 20.0001% = 40.0001%

Treat the guideline percentages like points out of 100 since there are 100% points. You have all 20 of the postings points. You have 2/3 of the tests points so 20. You're up to 40 out of 100. If you get all of the leading discussions points you can get a 90 out of 100 because that will add 50 points to your current total of 40. If you get 90% on Discussions you'll only get 45 of the percentage points, putting your total at 85, etc. Get it?

66.67 out of 100 = ? out of 30


= [(30)(66.67)]/100


= 20.01% in tests





total = 40.001 out of 50





40.001 out of 50 = ? out of 100


= [(100)(40.001)]/50


= 80.002% without the discussions of course
Postings: 20


Tests: 30% of 66.67 = 20


Therefore you now have 40 out of 50.


Now do your discussions well.
