How do you figure out if a substance is solid or liquid at room temp?

So you know know the melting point, and the boiling point but I still can't figure it out. p-Toluidine BP 200C melting point 45C. How would I get the answer? How do you figure out if a substance is solid or liquid at room temp?
Room temperature is about 20 degrees C. If the substance has a melting point of 45 degrees C, it is a solid at room temperature, because it won't reach a liquid state until the temperature rises to 45 degrees. If the melting point of a substance were below 20 degrees celsius, then it would be a liquid at room temperature. Water has a melting point of 0 degrees celsius, which is why it is a liquid at room temperature. How do you figure out if a substance is solid or liquid at room temp?
Remember this water always changes from solid ice to liquid water at 0 degrees so its melting poit is 0 degrees. hope that some how helped
