I am trying to figure out what is causing my 6 yr old daughter to have tummyaches everyday at school.?

I've talked to the school and everything there seems great. She has lots of friends and her grades are really good but complains about her tummy every afternoon. Please help!I am trying to figure out what is causing my 6 yr old daughter to have tummyaches everyday at school.?
I'm sorry to know that your daughter's having to deal with something like this!! %26amp; at school !!... Now since you say you've already seen a doc`., about the matter Maybe it's just in the nerves that's giving her this un`easy/nervous sorta feeling !?! I suppose .. that I also feel might bring on a sort of nervous dis`comfort that might result in belly aches or head aches!?! I have a feeling that once she gets used to a certain routine !?! %26amp; or gain a buddy or two that her nervous system will balance out If you will!?! %26amp; things MIGHT change for the better !?! If not contact a hospital !!! G/L rRrI am trying to figure out what is causing my 6 yr old daughter to have tummyaches everyday at school.?
The suggestions about the using the washroom at school, and being bus-sick are very good.

But this is what happened to my son at the same age - stomach aches of no explanation, nothing was seeming to trigger them at all. Family doctor did checkup, even x-rayed bowels. Referred him to a pediatrician, who knew what it was right away once she talked to my son more.

Turns out my son was getting migraines - and since a child that small knows he is hurting, and the most common hurt he knows is a stomach ache, that's what he was saying it was. But when the doc did more pointed questioning, she figured it out.

Within a year, my son was getting total classic, full-blown migraines, and could describe them better - he would get the 'aura' (flashing lights in his eyes), serious pressure in his head, would throw up a few times, need to be in the dark - once nausea passed, would give him ibuprofen, he would sleep for a few hours, then feel better.
Mine (all 4) began complaining of stomach aches at about that age. Turns out, they can't drink milk on an empty stomach. Not for breakfast and not for lunch.

Another possibility (one I've had to deal with also) is that she's reluctant to poop at school. Causing gas pains. (It used to make me so mad when my mom would respond to ';My stomach hurts'; with ';Did you try to use the bathroom?'; Turns out, there was something to that suggestion).
Just make sure she eats a healthy breakfast before going to school and is getting plenty of hydration, also, could be pushing her to hard in PE. I know when I was in school, when it came time to pass the presidents fitness test, I always ended up with stomach aches after doing all of those sit ups and having to run the mile.
i read a book called my thirteenth winter, a true story, and it is about a child with dyslexia. in this book she would also get bad tummy aches at school. she went to the doctor and they couldn't find anything either. this was due to the fact that she had dyslexia. your daughter might have some issues with learning and gets nervous. look into it. best of luck.
at six i had the same problem.

my mother ended up taking me to the hospital etc... they never found anything, and i promise i was not lying.

just keep going to doctors and get opinions and do tests. check her for everything.

mine? they never said anything way wrong, and it went away eventually on its own.
I used to do that almost once a week at school. I don't think it was really anything. I just wanted to go home and be with my mom. Maybe that's her problem that she just wants to go home. It's not that school isn't a good place but it might be boring or she could just want to be with you.
well, i used to say that so i didnt have to go to school, is there is stress in her life it could be that. ulsers. why havnt you taken her in?
Probably nervousness or anxiety she doesn't realize- or she may be one of those kids that won't poo at school and she's getting herself backed up.
i had that all through school i honestly think it was just the fact that it was school because the week i graduated it went away
Kelley has a couple of great suggestions. I just have one more - bus sickness/motion sickness?
