Ive been trying to apply for certain credit cards and financing options through companies and ive been denied everytime. Ive tried to get a credit report online but it wont let me there either. Is there anyway to get information on your credit without having to go online or pay for a report to be shipped to your house??????How do I figure out my credit??????
Start out small by applying for credit cards from walmart or target, not the visa types, but the store credit cards...then start on to capital one, bank of america and so forth....it will eventually grow. Washington Mutual has a credit card online site once you have the card, shows your your FICO credit score. Good luck. How do I figure out my credit??????
Under the new law called the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) will allow consumers to get ONE free copy of their credit report from each of the three major credit reporting on an annual basis. This law was introduced in 2004.
Phone : EQUIFAX is 1-800-685-1111
EXPERIAN is 1-888-397-3742
TRANSUNION is 1-800-888-4213
You can get more info when you call, they tell you where to send your letter and what should include in the letter for a free report.
When you call don't forget to mention the FACTA law.
i dont know why cant get one online creditreport.com is free, you see your report in seconds right online
first go to annualcreditreport.com. you get your credit report there FREE, but you will have to pay for credit scores. if you call the credit buearus, they can mail you a copy of the report too.
by looking at your credit report from ALL three credit bureaus, you can figure out what's going on with your credit history and to see if someones taken your identity. dispute anything that you see on the credit report that isn't yours. put everything in writing and mail it to the credit bureau. make copies of everything you send them, just in case they don't receive it or it gets lost in the mail.
as for applying for credit cards, i would lay low. each time you get rejected from a credit card, it hurts your credit score.
